EVANSVILLE, Indiana--Four Panthers continue in singles play when action resumes tomorrow at the MVC Individual Championships. First serves are set for 9 a.m.
Singles Results
Astrid Santos defeated Andjela Brguljan (UE) 6-2, 6-3.
Elvira Lopez lost to Anelisse Torrico (MSU), 6-2, 6-3. Lopez would come back and win against Alejandra de Lasa (BU), 6-1, 6-3.
Sydney Wolfe lost to Theodora Soldatou (UE), 6-1, 7-6 (4). Wolfe received a bye in the next round of play and will resume action tomorrow.
Gisela Kemper fell to Jana Kustkova (ILS), 6-2, 6-3. Kemper would also fall to Andrea Pascual-Larrinaga (UE), 7-6 (5), 7-6 (6).
Jieke Stroobant would fall to Veronika Golanova (ISU), 6-1, 6-4. Stroobant would fall again to Chieko Yamada (UE), 4-6, 6-0, 10-6.
Doubles Results
Lopez/Santos would fall to Hsu/Thongsing of WSU, 8-5.
Stroobant/Wolfe fell to Drake's Herder/Williams, 8-5.
Kemper/Hunt fell to Bradley's Wijesinghe/Brandt, 8-3.
