Panthers Wrap Up Fall Ball

The University of Northern Iowa women's softball team completed their last game of the fall season on Wednesday against Des Moines Area Community College.
No official score was taken for the 10-inning matchup.
Sammey Bunch was the first to reach home for the Panthers in the bottom of the second inning after she was able to steal second base and had some assistance from Jaci Spencer. Spencer came in with a deep hit into center field which landed her on second base and brought Bunch home.
Kennedy Bailey came up to bat and got a hit into left field that got her to second base and brought Spencer home. Bailey also came home with help from Ashely Chesser who was able to get on base thanks to an error by DMACC's first basemen.
In the bottom of the seventh, Bunch once again reached home thanks to two of her teammates. Alyssa Buchanan came up after Bunch and landed on first after a hit to left field. Brittney Krodinger got off a bunt that brough Bunch home and herself on first base.
Macey Wolfe led off for the Panthers in the bottom of the ninth. Wolfe had a deep hit into center field, landing her on second base. Buchanan brought Wolfe home with a hit into the back of left field.
