• The University of Northern Iowa women's volleyball team (15-7 overall, 6-3 MVC) will bring a season-long five-match win streak home to the McLeod Center for a pair of league matches.
• UNI will take on the Evansville Purple Aces (4-18 overall, 0-9 MVC) on Friday at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for cancer awareness on Friday.
• The Panthers will play host to the Southern Illinois Salukis (16-7 overall, 7-2 MVC) on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the McLeod Center. Saturday will be Parents Night for the UNI volleyball program. Fans attending the football game will be admitted free to the volleyball match by showing their football game ticket.

ALL-TIME SERIES
UNI is 46-1 all-time vs. Evansville. The Purple Aces lone win came Nov. 1, 2008, in Evansville. UNI is 22-0 all-time in home matches vs. the Purple Aces.
   UNI owns a 52-13 lead in the all-time series vs. Southern Illinois. SIU has won five of the last eight matchups between the schools. UNI has won 26 of the last 27 matches between the two schools in Cedar Falls.
   Head coach Bobbi Petersen is 32-1 all-time vs. the Purple Aces. Petersen is 30-5 all-time vs. the Salukis.

Head coach Bobbi Petersen is in her 17th year as the UNI head coach.Â
   Petersen has posted an impressive 425-129 record at the helm of UNI's program, with seven Missouri Valley Conference regular season titles, eight MVC tournament crowns and two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances to her credit. She ranks in the top 10 of active Division I coaches in winning percentage (.767).
   In 2015, Petersen joined the 400-win club allowing her to become only the fourth MVC coach to earn 400 victories. Petersen joined Linda Dollar (758 - Missouri State), Iradge Ahrabi-Fard (503 - UNI) and Melissa Stokes (438 - Missouri State) in that elite class.
POWER CONFERENCE
UNI is among four MVC schools ranked in the top 63 of the RPI released by the NCAA on Monday.Â
   Wichita State (No. 32), Southern Illinois (No. 52), UNI (No. 57) and Missouri State (No. 63) are all ranked in the RPI top 100.
KEEP THE STREAK ALIVE
UNI enters this week's action having won a season-best five matches in a row.Â
   UNI will look to extend the streak to six matches for its longest such winning streak since the 2013 season when the Panthers strung together seven straight triumphs.
HOOK ASSISTS WITH 2 MORE WINS
UNI junior setter Heather Hook, the league leader in assists per set, averaged 11.88 assists per set in helping the Panthers to two road wins with a pair of double-doubles.Â
   Hook handed out 41 assists and tallied 10 digs in a 3-0 win at Bradley on Friday.Â
   Hook came back on Saturday and dished out 54 assists to go along with 12 digs.
HANELINE ECLIPSES 1,000 KILLS
Senior Kayla Haneline ranks No. 22 on UNI's all-time kills list with 1,059.
   Chris Less ranks No. 21 on the kills list with 1,061 from 1988-1991.
   Holly VanHofwegen ranks No. 20 on the kills list with 1,088 from 1996-1999.
   Haneline is one of 25 Panthers to have reached 1,000 career kills.

The Panther trio of Amie Held, Bri Weber and Heather Hook each recorded a pair of double-doubles in two league matches this past weekend.Â
   Held (12 kills, 10 digs), Weber (10 kills, 12 digs) and Hook (41 assists, 10 digs) each got a double-double at Bradley on Friday. Then on Saturday at Loyola, Held (15 kills, 17 digs), Weber (19 kills, 10 digs) and Hook (54 assists, 12 digs) each posted double-doubles again.Â

GOING THE DISTANCE
UNI snapped a three-match losing streak in five-set matches with a 3-2 win at Loyola (Oct. 15).
   The Panthers had lost five-set decisions to Illinois State, Southern Illinois and Missouri State.
   The Panthers also collected a five-set win over Iowa State in non-conference play.
   UNI is 2-3 in five-set matches this season.
PANTHER VOLLEYBALL CLINIC
The UNI volleyball team will be hosting a one day clinic for young athletes to improve their skills.
   The 2016 Panther Volleyball Academy Clinic will be held Sun., Oct. 30, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Wellness and Recreation Center on the UNI campus.
   The cost of the clinic is $35 and is available for children in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. All campers will receive a T-shirt.
