WATERLOO, Iowa- The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team tied with the Drake Bulldogs Tuesday night, drawing 0-0.
The matchup featured excellent defense from both sides with both teams struggling to find a quality look in front of goal. Brynell Yount found the Panthers best chance of the game late in the first half, sending a header just over the bar.
The second half featured more of the same, with both teams keeping the ball in midfield, with no success in the final third.
Maddie Lesjak saved both shots she faced on frame, resulting in her securing her fifth shutout of the year.
The Panthers will be back in action this Sunday at home in a matchup with Loyola. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and live stats will be available via UNI athletics.
