Kemp Named Diver of the Week

Senior Sarah Kemp of Ames, Iowa, has been named the MVC Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference today.

Kemp placed first in the 1-meter dive against MVC opponent, Illinois State, with a score of 274.5. Kemp took second place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 248.77 against Illinois State. Kemp qualififed for the Zone "D" Diving Championships that will be held in March.

Kemp and the Panthers defeated Illinois State for the first time since the 2004-05 season before defeating Quincy University the next day.

NEXT TIME IN THE POOL

Kemp and the Panthers are home, Saturday, Jan. 23, for Senior Day against in-state rival, Iowa State. The meet is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. in the Glen F. Henry Pool.
