Aarias Austin Granted Release from UNI

Junior guard Aarias Austin has asked for and been granted his release from the University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team according to UNI head coach Ben Jacobson.
"We appreciate Aarias's contributions to our men's basketball program," Jacobson said. "We also understand his desire for an opportunity to have a different and larger role at another program. We wish Aarias all the best going forward."
Austin saw action in all nine games this season for the Panthers. Austin joined the Panthers after playing the previous two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College.
